Exactly, who ever is the architect of this tower should be kicked in the Nuts.

I don't think we can really judge from that tiny render. I recon it'll be one of the best towers to stand underneath.

ok call me a hater all you want but im being honest unlike others here, it may seem like i dont like any dubai tower but that is untrue.

if we dissect this structure, one can see that the architect decided to mix a bunch of styles together which resemble a heroine induced design, by looking at the small render the top includes structural expressionism, which every in dubai seems to be using in the form of cross diagional bracing x's, the top also resembles a very pomo style, very similar to las vegas.
moving along the tower breaks away from the two legs and again uses structural expressionalism, similar to that of the crazy whacky and ugly museum tower in louisville, from the small rendering the facade design is above average.

but my biggest concern about the design is that its messy, no clear form is established, yes it looks futuristic and very unique, the problem with this is that these towers never turn out as good as there renders, if built this tower will be out of place, ungodly, dysfunctional. what needs to be done reduce its massing, reduce the different colors of glass and get rid of the skybridge it looks tacky.

I wonder how this looks like from different angles though. If the render turns out better than the real thing then that would be a first for Dubai

They will be there. There'll be a line running up the trunk that'll join up to the red line.

Yeah, come one Malec. It's one bad (hiediously, offensively, shockingly bad) out of many, many good projects. It's not worth boycotting the whole city over it.

OK, OK, I'll put it back. I was pretty pissed off. I still think it's the worst project in the world though.

I'll get rid of it where I can. I was angry so sorry. For example when some arsehole decides to steal a great theme from a classical symphony or something and make a techno remix that pisses me off too, especially if they get money out of it.

Its one of my favorite pieces of electronic music. I do love the original though, its so beautiful and sad and powerful, both of them are..

I don't mind that one too much since everyone would know he ripped it off. But I've heard a tune that used a part of tchaikovsky 4 or 6, can't remember which one it was, but one of my friends said, oh that's great stuff. That pissed me off so much, thinking that ****** is getting credit for ripping it off.
