Considering IFC and ICC are cousins and developed in co-operation with the MTR, ICC will not likely be lit up with LEDs. In fact, using IFC as the mirror, it'll likely be just typical floodlights.

ICC would look bad with LED anyway.

Most like it's gonna be plain floodlights kinda like the 2-IFC. No colour changing, no effects and no gimmicks.

I'm a bit surprised that it took almost 20 years from opening date to come up with the new lighting scheme on BoC. The previous floodlights didn't exhibit the building so well at night.

Perhaps they didn't take it to be a priority until the government came up with the light show.

In Hong Kong, I prefer The Centre's changing colours :

Cheung Kong Center used to be more interesting but they seem to have more subdued lighting. Its facade used to be a huge colourful billboard.

Wow! What a fantastic picture of Shanghai. When I saw the Oriental Pearl's lighting I was quite surprised. It actually has tons of changing colour LEDs which make it look magnificent at night. I also like the AIG Building in Hong Kong.

The Centre was the pioneers when it come to HK lighting on the daily.

Though the one in Miami was the pioneer when it come to the changing colour effect

Actually, I'd put Cheung Kong on the innovators list as well since it was the first skyscraper in Hong Kong to incorporate full body lighting for the entire facade and animated flows. The Centre did not have lighting for its entire facade (ie. every panel).
