Cool. Is this one of the more rich cities of India (with Mumbai and Bangalore?)?

It is not the metro. The current metro is not being built yet. Construction will start this year. It is just a commuter train. The actual metro when built will be similar to the delhi metro.

That train is some express train passing thru the station. ITs not the MMTS trains Hyderabad has.. Stations are clean and well signed.. Only prob is the frequency of the service.. Till date, its still pretty bad.. Stations look a bit outdated but still they are lot cleaner.. If the upcoming Metro and MMTS is interconnected at various interchanges, Hyderabad will have a very good public transport system

Very Nice pics. Now they've already started working Metro Station in Mumbai, Banglore and Hyderabad. Hope later in future it expands in other cities.

Does anyone know why the doors are also open on the side where there is no platform? What if someone falls down from the train to the tracks?

Nope that's not Mumbai either. That's actually from Bangladesh.

Its one of the photos taken in Bdesh. Thats also during the massive flooding time when roads were washed away and the trains were the only transport that ppl could use to travel. Most of the trunk routes in india are electrified and not many ppl would want to risk their lives with 20KV powerlines overhead..
