But there will most likely be a plan for phase 2 released as construction for both corridors is in full swing.

There are at least 8 more lines planned apart from the 2 in Phase I. Phase II details will come out probably in a year or two. You can check wikipedia for those planned lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chennai_Metro

just clicked it at the right time when a plane was approaching the new runway to land... had awesome huge views of planes reaaaallllyyy low :P


that's it... but what's below??? I don;t know... all I know is it is a few hundred metres between the Sector-21 and the Sector 8 Blue Line station... and the concrete boundary walls are bearing the logo of DMRC .. the gaurd mumbled something when I asked him what it was- I could only understand 'Taj'...!!!

so... speculate or whatever, I am not saying that Taj Hotels is building one over here in collaboration with DMRC coz there's been no news... will try to get Info... meanwhle enjoy these mean pix of the building inside the DMRC premises...
