For the commonwealth games or by the commonwealth games ? Metro is not constructed for catering to sportspersons, it's for general masses .

2 more lines (Violet line and Airport Express) will open in next 15 days, just before games.

Here are some Green Line videos. Have been looking high and low for some and finally found it today.

Standard guage metro train departing Inderlok
Here you can see the train as it departs its eastern terminus, Inderlok station, which is the interchange for the line to the Red Line. Before it arrives, you can see a launch girder for a branch line to Kirti Nagar station on the Blue Line which is due this December.

Standard gauge metro at Inderlok
In this video you get a glimpse of the interior of the standard gauge metro carriage.

Surajmal Stadium to Nangloi in standard gauge metro

The journey between Surajmal Stadium and Nangloi. Announcements are made in Hindi (male announcer) and English (female announcer).

Standard gauge metro arriving at Mundka

This is the line's western-most terminus and you can see a train arriving at the platform.

Haha....Varanasi and Agra in their current sorry state are little more than glorified slums.

Obviously due to cost. Most of the metros in world do not have this feature. However, the Airport Express line is fitted with screen doors. Metro is planning to install screen doors in interchange stations.

Oh Debayan, We are in really bad luck. Current ruling parties has destroyed all reserved tram tracks except the maidan area. They are intertionally destroying Kolkata tram. New stocks are just gimmicks.
