I just love when modern buildings adapt to their surroundings, especially in wonderful natural lanscapes.

Like this one:

Dolomitenblick (Dolomites View), South Tyrol

One last cool "extreme home" by me for today.

The Flintstones Cartoon House‏

This unique house currently belongs to American producer/ actor Dick Clark, but in the future, it can be yours because it is on the market at the price of $3,500,000. Perched on a headland in Malibu, this one-of-a-kind retreat is offering an amazing full rotation panorama of the Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Boney Mountains, Serrano Valley and Los Angeles

Some of these houses are incredible, such as the cement factory.

Open for public since 1990, this crazy house's in the top list of many travel guide books and is recognised as one of the world’s most “bizarre” buildings by many international magazines and newspaper..

All the rooms in this house is name with the name of animal based on its interior design: ant room, tiger room, bear room...

*Sees first picture*

"Well, that's not too bad. Interesting facade, but I've seen more biz-"

*Scrolls down to second picture*

"OK, somebody take a blood sample of that architect. Whatever he had in his body when drawing this, there's no chance it has dissipated yet. It's only been around 25 years."

Looks appealing, though. Must be a pain to maintain in the long run, but I guess tourism pays off the expenses and then some.

Serious question, where does all the elevator and mechanical equipment go? Usually floors are set aside for that and I wonder why more buildings don't do this.
