i thought turkey was a place with macchia and with nice beaches, i had no idea it looked like northern europe too....

These photos are from all over Turkey. Some from mediterian region and some from Black sea region.Turkey is divided into 7 geographical regions. Each region has a different weather characterics, of course that influences the fauna and the flora as well.For example, genarally winters are very cold in the east and not too cold in the mediterrian region. In a way this variety is good, because in the middle of the winter you may swim in sea in Antalya or you may ski in the east.I should also add that the Northern part is more lush than other regions.

Yes Turkey is a real paradise... You can see these beauties also in Greece, Switzerland and Northern countries, but none of them is in only one country except Turkey...
