Tianjin Binhai International Airport

Tianjin Binhai International airport has been under the shadow of Beijing Capital Airport for long time. The new terminal construction finished in May 2008 and capacity reached 10 million pax (feight 500k tons)

very tastefully designed, I like it. However, it seems like it while be a while until all the gates will be used, very few non-freight flights are flown to or from here. The old terminal was an industrial park building! But this actually feels like a grand entrance into the city of Tianjin, a major upgrade. Is there plans for metro to this airport? I know it's somewhat far from the city center, but they already have a metro line running 5km away, maybe just need to add a spur.

I think the Shanghai Airport is among the best in China, the interior is very different than the rest of Chinese airports which is usually just White or gray.
