I've noticed that some of the (better) design features that were popular in the 1970s are becoming popular once again. It's interesting to see, since they end up good-looking, anyway. Although, I doubt we will be seeing neon colours and tiny tiles anymore (good thing).

I like it. Nice greenery to complement the concrete.

Real (not cheap) 70s interiors had that cool yet funky look that is only just now coming back with the recent mid-century modern revival. They were a bit kitsch, but nowhere near as kitsch as most attempts at neoclassic interiors.

Some modern 70s influenced designs: The kitsch seems to be gone.

Cologne Furniture Fair, 1970

Interior design on acid... pure, awesome unfiltered 1970s.

How about that?
Günther Frütrunks "Quiet Room" for the UN Buildiung in NY
Quote:
The Federal Republic of Germany provided the interior decoration of the Security Council "Quiet Room". Central elements of the interior decoration are the wood-paneling of the walls and ceiling. German artist Professor Günter Fruhtrunk and the architect Professor Paolo Nestler designed the room, which has a predominant emphasis on diagonal lines.
