Mumbai Photos
Some Mumbai photos taken by me in October.
A bad panorama attempt :-)  Nariman Point from Marine Drive. Visibility was bad becuase of some rain.  Some high-rises in Grant Road  New Towers in Gokuldham, Goregaon (All around 30 storeys)   Shreepati Arcade, India's tallest residential tower  Another view from Carmicheal road  The Mahim Interchange    The Western Freeway, approaching the Bandra Worli Sealink    The Sealink under construction  Bandra Skyline views   The 8-laned Western Express Highway  Vakola flyover, Western Express Highway  The SD Towers, India's tallest buildings rising. I just had a crazy idea. We should arrange it so that we can have an SSC India meet in Mumbai some time in the future We can go take photos and the like

AMAZING shots Kshatriya! I love the road pics! Shreepati Arcade looks great too, as does the soaring SD towers. However I don't understand the picture of the circular off ramp off the WE Freeway. The sharp-turn ">>" signs suggest the vehicles should be travelling clockwise, but all the vehicles parked on the side of the ramp are pointed in the opposite direction.
I'll be in Mumbai for a very short while in early Jan. I'll plan on dividing it between being terrorized by relatives (mostly in Vashi area) and taking copious pictures. I'll also get pics from NCR area and Kerala, and possibly Bangalore. |
