Ow: Confident that the Johor property market will remain positive.

BURSA Malaysia Main Market listed construction and engineering service provider and niche lifestyle property developer, Gabungan AQRS Bhd, is offering a prestigious property development — The Peak @ Jalan Temenggong — with a total gross development value of RM600mil in the rapidly growing Iskandar Malaysia region.

The company says the property project not only offers a perfect living experience, but also an excellent investment opportunity for property investors that is set to be a desirable residential address.

It says The Peak is imbued with unique character and historical inspirations dating back to 1855 where the Temenggong dynasty rose.

Built with the concept “heritage meets distinction”, it is designed for those with discerning taste who are in search of luxury contemporary lifestyle.
The property located in the Iskandar Malaysia development region in Johor is poised to yield outstanding returns thanks to its privileged location, exceptional quality and impressive facilities.

“The Peak is the fusion of spaciousness, elegance and intricate detailing for maximised style, form and functionality.

“Private lift lobbies enhance the privacy of residents at all times.
“Carefully planned spaces provide all Sky Villa service apartments the luxury to enjoy breathtaking sights from any part of the unit or any direction from the windows.

“The Peak will be another of our flagship development, adding to our current construction projects and property development portfolio of RM1.23bil in GDV to-date,” said Gabungan executive director Ow Chee Cheoon.

The project is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s top and bottom line in coming years, providing higher value for stakeholders.
Gabungan AQRS’ current development portfolio includes the MRT package V1, Kuala Lumpur with a GDV of RM303.5mil.

Other projects include property developments, such as Contours in Ampang with a GDV of RM157.3mil; Permas Centro in Iskandar Malaysia with a GDV of RM127.3mil and The Avenue in Selangor with a GDV of RM207.6mil.

Ow remains optimistic that the outlook is likely to remain positive in this year for Johor’s property market, particularly in Iskandar Malaysia, which has been progressing well over the last six years and has brought great changes in the landscape of the property market in the South Johor region.

“There is still so much room and potential to grow for the Johor property market compared to Kuala Lumpur and Penang,” Ow said.

He added that, being the company’s first property project in Iskandar, The Peak is being designed to be a luxurious freeholdd development that has a prime position and is easily accessible.

Jalan Tebrau, which is an integrated major rail system with multiple expressways providing easy accessibility to major areas within Iskandar City, is located strategically just beside the development.

It will take seven minutes to the Custom and Immigration Quarantine Complex using the Dispersal Link Expressway, eight minutes to Permas Jaya, two minutes to North-South Highway or 10 minutes to the nearest hypermarket or a golf course.

“With its niche features, exceptional quality, impressive facilities and strategic location, The Peak’s residents will embrace a new lifestyle like no other, articulating stylish, cosmopolitan living with a touch of regal tranquillity that inspires the senses.

“We want our residents to enjoy the privacy and having a good place for them to soothe their mind, body and soul,” Ow said.

The Peak comprises six blocks, with 41 storeys in each blocks, with a total of 668 units of Sky Villa service apartments.

The show unit of the property was open in Iskandar since April 6 and the property is expected to be completed in 2015, targeting local and foreign buyers and with great interests with various parties.

The company said it has received much interests from Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian buyers.

“The upcoming Permas Centro project in Iskandar Malaysia, which will have a mixed shop office development is estimated to be just 15 to 20 minutes from The Peak, this will definitely be another exciting project that we are looking forward to,” he said.
