I like this tower a lot too, very unique design, though it would probably look better in a cluster than it would by itself (with just those two short towers next to it.)

What makes 432 Park Avenue looks extra slim is that the most towers in Midtown are quite bulky, and so it's skyline. Don't get me wrong, I love the skyline. Apart form prominent building sticking out, most have a hight of about +-200meter. 432 PA is twice that tall. Plus NY's skyline is very familiar to a lot of people, so I think they are more concerned about the impact of new buildings on the skyline.

Anyhow I'm amazed by these renders here.

This tower has a floor area of just 76,700 square metres (826,000 sq ft), thereby making it the smallest-ever supertall building in terms of floor area. Rare idea to come up with a supertall building with a floor area of less than a million square feet (92,000 sq m).

if imperial is about that height they should just make it the exact same design of the first two towers and make a triple out of the twin towers

116 floors and only 400m? That's a very low ceiling height, I guess the tower's apartments are not luxury then.
