That's so weird when they make the renders flared at the top. Their fear of a normal photographic perspective (with natural focal points) looks so silly!
The most distorted are picture Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 from Gabriel900's post.

They have started excavating the plot. I hope they have actually completed the piling

Why excavate the plot if piling isn't yet finished!?

It's not nice, it's heavily dominating all the other surrounding towers. It will look stupid, although the design is almost mature (at least it has a potential to be).

That is because of the height limitation that once was put over this end of SZR! Many of the completed towers you see right now were originally planned taller and some were supertalls but were cut short due to the laws. Now the height limitation is lifted and basically it is now unlimited, higher towers will start to rise. This is the first, we have 2 close by supertalls in piling stage called Zabeel Towers and many empty plots to help balance out the weirdness in the future.

Well, yes, I understand. But this whole situation looks quite silly. Once fashionable and unique designs, they are going to be outshined by such extent, that suddenly they become something quite undesireable to own a part of, low-grade, and totally diminished to an insignificant size. It's so unfair!

Because is actually cheaper to excavate and than do the piling than doing it from many meters above. Look, depending on specific conditions, they can do it (piling) one way or the other, or a combination of the two.

I don't wanna be a party pooper but AltinD might be right. I haven't seen a regular piling machine in any of the photos from early 2015 until now, there were only "trench cutters" and these small cranes, so it is very likely that they only finished the shoring walls....

this project always suffered from lack of updates .. it is normally months before we get one so this can go either ways really! Let's hope they are done with them because they already took a long time in piling whatever they piled

It may sound quite strange, but the worst thing about design are trees. It's a question to all green architecture, where trees are put into building in some way. Architecture itself is usually just so geometrical and out of nature that planting trees on roofs or setbacks ruins the feeling of solidness.
Well, I also admit that even without trees design would be not great. It's someting between Willis Tower and Antilia in Mumbai.

Slight height increase plus more details alongside a render on how will it affect the general skyline!

Entisar Tower is a 528 m, 121 story tower located on two prime parcels adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road between the 51 story Radisson Royal Hotel and the 56 story Park Place Towers. Entisar Tower, developed by Meydan, aims to be a bespoke living and lifestyle residence, offering its residents and visitors a sophisticated and luxurious experience.

The tower is a mixed-use development consisting of retail, offices, furnished apartments, freehold residential and penthouses, along with several levels of lobbies for recreation and leisure facilities, sky gardens and exclusive penthouses located on the upper floors. Two levels of retail outlets are featured, three levels of offices at the base of the tower, three levels of amenities (all day dining, gymnasium and spa) and furnished apartments occupying over 43 levels. The residential sections are divided into lower and upper sections with a total of 48 residential levels including four partial lobby levels. The lower level residential apartments are spread over 30 floors with two plush recreational lobby levels. The upper section has a total of 18 levels with two levels of lobby, and three Sky Villas. At the top of the tower on the highest 10 levels are 17 exclusive Penthouses.

The tower’s numerous sky lobbies and sky gardens, alongside the exclusive penthouses, boast a dramatic infinity pool towering over the city’s skyline at the 110th level, and will be the cornerstone of the ultimate experience in luxury, extravagance and indulgence.
