Views from Beeston back to Nottingham Station on the first day 25.08.15

Leaving Beeston centre with a good driver and entering suburbia, we arrive at Middle Street.

Behind the oncoming tram is a corner chip shop with an outside bench where I once sat admiring the view . . .

Suburbia ends and the University Boulevard parkland begins :-

This trailing crossover leads to a turnback loop :-

At the end of the Boulevard we turn left around the back of the Arts Centre (I think that’s what it is?) :-

Climbing now towards the flyover of the A52 Clifton Boulevard :-

Views from the high-level at QMC :-

Down the long ramp :-

Around into Gregory Street and the Red Cow :-

Over the canal :-

And the railway :-

Around into Meadows Way West :-

And back where we started – time for breakfast! :-

Nottingham Station > Clifton South follows . . .

Clifton South back to Nottingham Station and home once more. . .

Coming down from Clifton South terminus, the alignment ‘cuts’ the corner into Southchurch Drive :-

Back at Clifton Centre, Now Open! :-

Down the dip towards Rivergreen :-

And the green pastures once again :-

Is this the missing crossover? It seems to be scotched in any event :-

Now a fast run to the Emerald City . . .

Round into Wilford Village :-

Some views across the river :-

And along the home straight once again . . .

All the best to Nottingham Express Transit for the future!!!
