I just hope that atleast they find a safer alternative for the flamingos and other wildlife there.

And I am pretty sure they won't have a problem

Between the new 600 meter twin towers they have designed for this project, entisar tower and the Burj 2020, dubai has 4 MEGATALLS in progress aswell as a whole load of supertalls.

@DUBAI10000:

Entisar Tower will be only be ~510m tall , which isnt Megatall. And these Twins here are most likely less than 600m tall , so not Megatall aswell.

Well I know what megatall means, its a tower with height in excess of 2,000 feet, however I forgot that Entisar is only 1710' roughly. However Burj 2020 is set to be over 2,100' and I heard a while ago on Gulf News that the Lagoons twin towers were supposed to be 0ver 600 meters tall. I just want these towers to be the tallest twin towers in the world. Which they will achieve even at a height of 500 meters.

This is by far my favorite project that is underway currently. Entisar could look great or horrible its all going to be in the cladding and we still don't have the designs for Burj 2020.

Indeed you need to calm down cz Lagoons project will mostly change many times before they even settle for one proposal! First it was the flames towers then tallest tower now tallest twin towers! Who knows this Cityscape they might release a new proposal all together or go back to the original flames proposal (if we were lucky) cz it was the best.

All they do in dubai is build a ton of high rises and think that makes a city. The dubailand proposal is a bunch of high rises and a couple of rides in between. If they would focus more on one place at a time maybe the ground level of the city wouldn't be the worst in the world. They need to work on fixing downtown before they worry about projects like this because everything is a disconnected office park with no cohesion whatsoever.

Dubai is a great city. The reason why they don't focus on one area at a time is because. There are several different developers who own different parsels of land. Such as Emaar, Nakheel and Jumeirah.

Hahaha Seriously an American talking about Infrastructure, well my friend it was only yesterday another American told me how bad infrastructure is in some cities in the states and how much Dubai is superior to it in that matter!

But apart from that you sound ridiculous Downtown got no cohesion!! really!! what are you on exactly! ... look what about you worry about your country and your ongoing racial war there and let us worry about Dubai. thank you

Well, when I have to judge after my experience, I didn't experience any city with better infrastructure and landscaping as Dubai (I'm focusing on ground level as if you wouldn't look up)

Work begins on Dubai Creek Residences

Construction has begun on the Dubai Creek Residences project in Dubai Creek Harbour.

Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties has awarded the construction contract for the project to Al Basti & Muktha (ABM), which has previously worked on developments that include the Old Town District of Downtown Dubai.

Dubai Creek Residences, scheduled for handover in 2018, consists of eight residential towers that form a part of The Island District. The 30- to 40-story towers will be used for residential purposes, containing one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Additional plans for the wider Dubai Creek Harbour development could include the construction of the world’s tallest twin towers, known as the Dubai Twin Towers, as its centerpiece.

“With the construction contract awarded to ABM, we are underlining our commitment to deliver the homes as per schedule in 2018,” said Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director of Emaar Properties.
