Let's give a name to LONDONS'S architecture items and styles

Let's focus on London's achitecture styles, architecture items, street items and urban items.
Let's give a name to the varios styles and items.

I start with a question.
What's the name of the sort of "gap" between the house wall and the fence that I have indicated in the picture ?
Which architecture style is that a feature of ? Of Georgian Houses ? Of Victorian Houses ? Both Georgian and Victorian Houses ?

As far as Glossary is concerned, I guess that the name for this kind of House is VICTORIAN TOWN-HOUSE. The style should be Victorian. Isn't it.

The name for the red-framed part in the picture below is
LOOK-OUT BASEMENT

What the hell are those "criss-cross" yellow lines that we see IN LONDON JUNCTIONS (see the picture below) ???

[/IMG]

Their name is: YELLOW BOX JUNCTIONS

These road markings are to remember that you must not enter the yellow box junction unless you can clear it without stopping.

These are the London Taxis
the proper name is: HACKNEY CARRIAGE (also called a cab).
Time ago, they were manufactured by AUSTIN MOTOR COMPANY.
Later, they were manufactured by CARBODIES Ltd.
Eventually, they are manufactured by
LONDON TAXIS INTERNATIONAL Ltd.
which - starting from 2007 - is 100% owned by the chinese
GEELY HOLDING GROUP Co Ltd.
