I canīt believe they are exposing the BMU in such an unelegant way. A bit more thoughts into the design and the top would look a thousand times better and more elegant.

But all in all a very nice addition to this area.

Yeah, but according with a render published on the post 403, there was (still is?) a roof planned that would cover the equipment, better if they build it.

A picture from a building in construction in Williamsburgh. When 30HY is topped out and cladded, about two years from now, this same view will offer an apparent three-glass-obelisk ensemble (despite this building and HY being separated by 2 km.) with 30 HY lookung taller than this.

If you mean in the first pic right behind this tower, then yes, that's the Trump World Tower way back, but the dominant black tower in the second pic is the back side of One Madison Park. They do look similiar.

Not a fan of either of these towers or Hudson Yards, they just look so unimaginative and cheap compared to most NY skyscrapers..

I would like to see a photo of this towers base. Is it already cladded?

In most cities, this on itself would be considered a prominent skyline.

Yeah I'm running out of hope that the roof is going to get covered. It's a major bummer, because the rest of the tower has turned out really well.
