^ I already did New York on the last page. I guess the only true contender here is Hong Kong, which could have more than 100 buildings over 600 feet.

And btw I'm still perplexed that the average roof height of the 100 tallest buildings in New York is well over 700 feet. That city is a monster.

Looks about right. Good call on Houston although Mumbai won't make it.

Ah my 200m+ thread! This one is a little different in that it takes into account how tall each of those buildings is. That said, I think 600 ft is too high, not too low. 500 ft would have been better.

I said that I just made sure the roof height was over 600, and then used the official height. I as wll as several others interpreted the first post that way.

The ''completed buildings" section in SSP is incomplete and not updated. So I had to look into both wiki and emporis. (actually emporis still seem to be incomplete) I've included all >600ft buildings in MetroManila.

That's what I thought. I had an awful time getting information on Manila skyscrapers for some other thread. Data for most other countries is quite good.

He quite clearly requested roof heights in the 1st post. It doesn't make sense to look at all the buildings in your city with a roof height of 600ft+ and then turn around and count them to pinnacle/antennae. Nowhere did he say to count to the pinnacle.

All he said was that requirement was that its roof height was over 600 feet. He didn't ever say use roof height so I just assumed to use official.

Meanwhile, Mumbai has about at least 40 >600ft buildings u/c at this moment. They could probably be at par with Southeast Asian cities before 2020 in terms of this topic.

I used roof height btw.

It was implied to use roof heights. How people can screw up simple instructions astounds me.

Chill man, it was an honest mistake. I had seen other forumers do the same thing already, which reinforced my assumption. I was just trying to help out.

Mumbai will surely soar to the top 10, but not for another 3-4 years. Currently, Mumbai has 7 buildings with a roof height of 600ft.

KL and MNL both in 14,000+ ft... With MNL a bit taller. Well in MetroManila skyscrapers, the exclusion of antenna/spires could plunge their height from let's say, 200meters to 180meters or lower.

I added Toronto in my list. I realized Mumbai as of this time doesn't fit my top15 prediction

Yeah, I think Toronto might sneak in there. I know it's beyond the scope of this thread, but what would be the numbers for Manila in each of the following 2 categories (in cumulative feet): U/C, Proposed?
