A walk around old Folsom, California

I took a walk around a part of old Folsom, California and I thought I would share.

I like those old charactered structures.
So this is where Folsom Prison is which Johnny Cash mentioned in one of his popular songs
and it happens to be one of my fave karaoke songs.

The title of that song is Folsom Prison Blues and I like that too and I only knew just now where it's located.
BTW, the old area is reminiscent of an old western town and I can further imagine cowboys wearing stetsons and horses lingering around.

Here is what Sutter street used to look like up till a few years ago:

The center strip was not original to the street and was put in decades ago for aesthetic reasons. It was causing problem (buckling of the street from the trees among other issues) and it was decided that it should be removed.
