We are not ready for something similar in Toronto. We have unfortunately one of the most boring architecture in the world. A decent building is an exception there.

What do you mean boring? They are building high rises all over the place in Toronto.

Just because they are highrises does not mean that they are all interesting. A lot of them are carbon copies of each other and just look the same. We have a few nice ones going up but nothing like Oceanwide Center.

In Toronto most condo tower feature only big balconies with no creativity and style. It s very sad and pathetic to see that. Toronto has a big chance to mark its time by building many beautiful things and become a pretty city. But instead of doing that, they do the opposite by building uninspired and tacky things .But there is some project that stand out and are awesome but they are very RARE.
If Toronto continue like that ,the city will never be beautiful like many international cities in the world. This is my personal opinion.

I'm heading up to Toronto soon to visit some relatives and I'll check out some of the new buildings that have been built up there. Haven't been to Toronto in a long time.
