Gotta head back over there some time soon. Haven't even seen the last section of the High Line yet! Crowds are probably starting to die down with the turn of the weather (not that the crowds bothered me).

In my experience so far, even in good weather the crowds are mostly ignoring Phase III of the High Line and getting off at 30th St. Phase III was far less crowded than the rest when I went.

Looks like the glass is waiting for the building to grow taller.

5th row of curtain wall facade on west side

Photo is from the HYNY FB page, 11/20 assumed.
One more row of windows installed above the 4 rows shown in the photos above. Photo is looking east from the (future) Culture Shed base/platform/whatever:

This is by far the slowest construction project going.

What's with those exhaust pipes sticking out the side, 4 WTC and 3 have them also..is this architecturally in vogue?

If they actually serve a purpose, it makes more sense than extending them all the way to the roof. Since the windows don't open, it's not an issue for that reason.

It's an enormous building. Plus it's at or near a transition floor, so it will soon speed up.

If by "whole project" you mean the Hudson Yards over the East Rail Yard, Related's often shown completion date is 2018. 4 more years and one more month before 2018 ends...

Hudson Yards is the largest scale construction project involving skyscrapers in NYC's entire history, so of course it's going to be slow. This tower will speed up eventually.
