Yeah, they are behind the schedules the were publicizing earlier THIS year, but I think most people expected them to be behind.

With an all concrete building it is to be expected.

I flew in to LGA today and had an amazing view of the city from the east. Didn't get a picture, but 10 HY was clearly visible on the far west side. It's really going to make an impact when it reaches full height.

I agree. At 895', it would have been among the tallest towers in NYC until the city went on a supertall building spree! Do you guys recall when 750' was the de facto plateau for new towers which few new buildings broke? Now 850 to 900' towers are a dime a dozen!

well this large of a concrete building has never been done before in new york. an all concrete office tower, but things will speed up in the coming months. besides beauty takes time to do right.

Thank the lord that the 750' (225m) plateau days are over. Bring on the 12-1400+ foot plateau days!

Yeah it's starting to make it's presence known.
AND photos taken from the upper stories show more of the Chelsea/Hell's Kitchen hood.

Wow, that building actually came out much better than I expected. It's no masterpiece, but the architectural references to the Starrett-Lehigh Building work fairly well from this angle. Not sure how I feel about the colorful water tower.

I thought it was a nice photo. Can't recall the last time I've been in Hoboken.

In the opposite direction you have the old "classic" AP HQ building:

They are fast anyway. 20 floors of this massive building are not easy to build in one year! Congrats New York!

considering they have worked two shifts almost every day of the entire tower construction, they have gotten to 24 floors in damn near 2.5 years.

Gosh, that lobby/atrium is going to be epic. Coach employees are going to be in for a treat when this opens.

It would be very difficult to see all the projects in one panorama. The New York skyline is pretty large. You can try searching on Flickr, though.
