So this could be zipped up by Jan 1 next year. I also think it will need 30 HY to compliment it.

VaynerMedia Moving Its HQ to 10 Hudson Yards

http://commercialobserver.com/2015/1...-hudson-yards/
Quote:
VaynerMedia, a social media consulting firm focusing on consumer brands and startups, is moving its headquarters to Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group’s 10 Hudson Yards between 10th Avenue and West 30th Street on the Far West Side, The Wall Street Journal first reported.

The agency has signed a lease for more than 88,000 square feet of office space for its 450 employees based in New York City, according to a press release from Related and Oxford. VaynerMedia’s headquarters is currently located at 315 Park Avenue South between East 23rd and East 24th Streets, and has planned to take a place in Hudson Yards since December of last year.

“10 Hudson Yards not only offers the VaynerMedia team a truly unique and collaborative work experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the city, but it also puts us in the center of New York’s next great neighborhood,” said Gary Vaynerchuk, the co-founder and chief executive officer of VaynerMedia, in prepared remarks.

VaynerMedia will assume one full floor on the 25th floor and half of the 24th floor, said Joanna Rose, a spokeswoman for Related told Commercial Observer. Ms. Rose declined to provide more details on the deal.

Ten Hudson Yards has tenants committed to 85 percent of its space, which consists of 100 shops and about 5,000 residences. It is one of Related and Oxford’s five commercial towers planned for the 28-acre Hudson Yards development, and is expected to top out on Wednesday.

Coach Inc., L’Oréal USA and German software engineering firm SAP have inked deals and are expected to move into the 1.7-million-square-foot tower in early 2016.

From New York Yimby:
Quote:
10 Hudson Yards Celebrates Last Concrete Pour, 52-Story Office Building In Hudson Yards

In late July, YIMBY brought you a construction update on 10 Hudson Yards, the first of Related and Oxford Properties’ planned Hudson Yards towers. Today, the team celebrated the topping-out of the 52-story, 1.7-million square-foot building, which will stand 905 feet to its pinnacle. Coach, Inc., L’Oréal USA, SAP, and Vayner Media have all leased space, bringing the tower to 85% occupancy. The skyscraper will officially open to tenants in early 2016.

Glad this topped off. Now the real work begins on its massive brother next door.

This tower gives us an idea of the scale for 30 Hudson and a step forward to revitalizing this area. Next thing you know, it will finish, yet we have many more surprises ahead as phase 2 kicks off.

According to TRD, this tower will open March of 2016.

Also, 85% of the tower is leased. HY is very popular for tenants. No wonder Silverstien took so long with the high rents he wanted and competition from the yards.

Whoa, we must be near a cave, because there's a troll who commented above me.

Sir, you're a fool. With this building being built around the high line, and with it's elegant imposing presence as you walk down the highline, it's a definite success. Not to mention that overall it's just a good design. You clearly haven't seen it in person, or you'd be saying otherwise.

Also, the way the side of the building tapers out over the street is very unique and intriguing. I'm gonna go against you and say this is one of the Big Apple's best.

I suspect your main opposition to this building is it's lack of conformity to it's surroundings. However, with the rest of the Yards getting built around it, with similar buildings in both height and design, it will be small part of a masterpiece.

It looks like it was taken around Englewood Cliffs, NJ because that's the George Washington Bridge. So around 11 miles (18km) at least and maybe farther.
