The study area of the project is located in Huangpu river west bank., Huangpu river west bank to the south, Fengfu road to the west, Ruijiang road to the north. The study area is 1.4 sq km.

The core design area is in “West Bank Media Park” district, which includes ten blocks surrounded by Longteng road, Longshui road, Huangshi road, Yunjin road. The planning site area is 23 ha and the development area is 15 ha.

The development positioning is to create a golden station point, a mixed-use waterfront window, to create global media park, to build a sustainable paragon.

The function of the project includes commercial, culture, entertainment, business office, public service and exhibition.

The development positioning includes the following points:

• Create a new, natural, dynamic, balanced public space. Achieve an attractive waterfront district with mixed-use functions of SOHO, media, commercial, exibition, recreation, tourism, creative office;

• Create a transit oriented and green transportation network, blending with pedestrian, bus, PRT, metro, light-rail, and ferry systems;

• Create a functional completed, sustainable district with cultural media, business office, entertainment, exhibition, creative office, hotel service and tourism experience as a golden station;

• Create a sustainable paragon. Achieve a green media core district that enhances an eco-life style, green energy, sky garden, infrastructure and green transportation to become a paragon of a
sustainable city.

Aedas as the Masterplan Concept Design Architect of this project.

I remember reading about this project a little while ago. I'm not always a fan of modern architecture, but this development looks amazing. Hopefully it ends up getting approved.

Also, what is that transportation system? It looks like a highway, but there appears to be stations and pods rather than cars.

nice. I like the elegant shapes of the towers. Is that a monorail track? That would be very cool.
