Another nice highrise to compliment the growing number of such buildings. London is really becoming great in terms of skyscrapers.

You're certainly right there.

I love the renders it looks promising but I'm reserving judgment till it starts to go up.

This one could be a masterpiece or a mess.

True. I think it's a decent design, but a masterpiece sounds a bit exaggerated to me.

Construction on this is going faster now, will be a big core soon, someone correct me if im wrong but there is another tower called 360 london, going up next to this one in march, and there are more highrises under construction in the cluster too called tribeca, and it has several new towers going up, I also know that the ttafalgar towers develooment is under construction aswell, when all these are topped out in a year or two, this will be a cool new cluster

Four seoerwte develooments of multiole towers each, all under construction in the same cluster, arevtgere any NIMBYS in the area complaining about the 'evil towers', it doesnt matter anyway, as the towers are allready under construction

Any news?

Has anyone been at the site recently? Any further updates on the construction or if there are apartments still available for sale?

The use of gold on this tower is quite interesting and shows that the architect has talent. But I wish he'd used a bit more of that talent. Other than the gold it's still a basic box. A bit more attention to form, instead of just colour, could have made this a special building. It's still a good one, but not a special one.

I personally think the form is fine, seeing as it sits next door to a rather bespoke high rise, it isn't like London and it's surrounding areas are home to abundance of glass boxes (bar Canary Wharf).

Most highrises around the world will eventually be basic boxes.

No way, you don't want to cross the line into kitsch. Gold accents and whacky forms are a bad mix.

Such daring designs combined with odd materials might look good in Asia but not in London.

Completely agree.

I love the design as it is.
