Quick-rising core. I hope this building looks as good in real life as in the render, a lot don't.

The speed cores rise in London now amazes me.
Fenchurch blew me away the speed that rose, but took ages, and still needs completing.
Leadenhall on the other hand, the core went up fast, and finished fast.
Residential's such as Wapping have gone up mega quick too,so i expect the Elephant to follow suit.
I'll pass by tomorrow, and hopefully post and update here....

I'm sure that Leadenhall doesn't have a concrete core???

Yes - some daily posting/pics/updates on this would be great looking at the pace it's coming along at.

Bligh....Leadenhall does have the concrete core.I think 2 from memory.Although not central,i believe there's one either side of the building next to the stairs. They may just be riser's though ?
I'm also in the area from time to time,so will post updates,as this seems a bit of a quiet thread.A major new high rise for London in my opinion being right next to Strata. The Shard seems to have inspired South of the river to start building upwards.

There is no concrete core in the Leadenhall building, it's all steel.

I believe the building is going to be ready for occupation in Q1, 2016. Anybody here know how the prices have moved since launch? Up or Down?

Strangely enough, the gold accents on this building give it a very similar look to a number of projects underway in Istanbul.

What would be a reliable website in the UK to get current selling prices of apartments? I have gone through rightmoves and zoopla but the variation between them is quite significant. Is there a website that shows past transacted prices, especially for apartments? I googled but in vain.
