I'm sure it's more then a suburb of Seattle, but I have a friend from there and since people don't know where Bellvue is usually, he says it's a Seattle suburb. It's pretty nice, looks like a lot of the places in Northern VA except for the mountains.

A good little city with a nice skyline fit for Seattle's companionship. I give it a 7/10.

I like it alot...and I love the Pacific NW. It's a hideaway of mine and I go there every couple of year. I know Seattle and it's surroundings very well...I've been all over this metro area and I really like it alot. Bellevue looks nice on this thread....

I heard that people from Bellevue eat their young. Very interesting from an anthropological stand-point there is also a "What the Pho?" restaurant which is a wildly imaginative name.

Some posts here call Bellevue a suburb of Seattle. That is factually incorrect. Bellevue is a CITY, not a suburb. There's a mayor, police dept, city charter, etc. True it may be a sattelite city, but definitely NOT a suburb. Bellevue and Seattle are markedly different in many ways.

Bellevue is urban. It does not feel suburban in the least. Unfortunately the pics don't show one of Bellevue's big appeals--it's cleanliness. Probably the cleanest city I've seen outside North Carolina. Beautiful in all directions, wonderful shopping, and the people are much friendlier than in Seattle.

Bellevue also seems lots more classy than Seattle.

Oh btw, I live in Bremerton, another satellite city of Seattle. pop 38,500.

Here are new updated photos taken by me. This way newer voters can get the real picture of today.

POP is a 2003 Estimate. 117,000 people in Bellevue alone.
