Paid to do renders but they don't know how to draw in perspective...
It's not bad but it's not great either. The glass patterns could be cool. 22Thames will steal the show in that corner, though.

They really need to do something about that awful patchy brick wall next to it that ruins the view from the WTC plaza. At least paint it one colour, or something.
Also, is that a chimney in the back?

Why does the cladding always look like it was copy and pasted? What are they going to do, tint the glass black? And the windows at the top are tiny, isn't that the opposite of most designs?

Hey maybe the cladding and perspective is 100 % correct and the architect is a jackass.

Why do they keep the low lying brick buildings near the WTC? The area is perfect for real estate and the bricks buildings are plain ugly when they're blackish brown.

This building went from questionable to mediocre. But it's still decent filler and won't impact the skyline much.

Personally, I like the old brick buildings in that area. Good counterbalance to all the new glass and steel going up.

Here's some new stuff from Fosters Design Studio site.

The side that is not glass façade was designed to mesh with the older buildings on that side. The glassy 125 Greenwich will pretty much destroy that. lol

I think like that new Kaufman building on West 55th street, it will turn out better than expected. It is too tiny to have any real presence, anyway.

Construction Update: 133 Greenwich Street

Quote:
The new Marriott Courtyard coming to 133 Greenwich Street is quickly rising, and the tower — designed by architect Danny Forster — is already at its fifth floor. Located directly across the street from the World Trade Center, the building will eventually stand 30 stories and 356 feet tall.

I don't know why, but I'm actually pretty excited for this project.
I guess its the unique window patterns and the fact it fills a long-empty lot.

Any updates? Surely this has risen a good portion of its height by now.
