I hope they go for this design.

Isb section will be very easy for me to update almost daily. For pindi section i can manage once a week
i would have more actively participated, but problem is that i am in Bahawalpur these days and likely to remain here few more months.
Had i been in pindi, it would have been much easier to keep an eye on one end of the project, as my house is quite close to pindi saddar.
Anyways, i shall keep on sharing any thing i get on this project, and whenever i have a chance to go pindi, i shall InshaAllah share MBS's progress on this forum.

This can be a very good design for Isb section, we got similar wide roads, we got green areas on both sides and we can save the green belt in the middle without any new road light poles. This will look beautiful on 9th avenue and Blue area.

small janglas are fine for ISB but in RWP, we need large janglas like the ones in Lahore. our people love the shortcut and hate using proper road crossings. big janglas will force people to use proper crossings and reduce accidents.

Just go with 9 km overhead bridge in RWP section. No need to be on ground. I hope they have learnt something from the one in Lahore.

The overhead pedestrian bridges and the floral patterns look like some kid designed them. The whole project was rushed, it still looks incomplete.

Getting real tired of all these redesigns but hopefully this is as close to the final thing as It's gonna get.

Also, I integrated the Islamabad Bus Service proposal into this map. Should they implement it, the metrobus will cater to a lot more people as it'd cover more commercial areas.

CM has boarded the bus and is on his way here!

Shahbaz likely to inaugurate Rawalpindi Metro Bus project on February 28

All arrangements have been finalised to initiate Metro Bus Service project in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Feasibility report and PC-I of the project have been prepared, and Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is expected to inaugurate the project on February 28.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs33 billion to Rs35 billion and it would be completed in 11 months time. Initially, 15 buses will be launched from Flashman Chowk Rawalpindi to Pak Secretariat via IJP Road and Faizabad.

Tenders for the award of the project will be announced on February 06, according to sources.
