A good chunk of Toronto's U/C and Proposals are depicted in this rendering.

Calgary 2018?

Calgary isn't even in my north American top 10 currently, but at the rate it's growing Calgary may have an outside shot at a World top 25 by 2025.

Yes Edmonton is coming on like gangbusters, but has a lot of workd to do just to catch Calgary. Calgary will be a NA top 10 contender very soon, Edmonton will take a little longer.

^How is this supposed to be Chicago 2025 when the Spire is likely not going to be built and the post office redevelopment, which was never a real project, is now definitely not going to happen? Also, what's that tall building to the right of the pipe dream post office project?

I'm pretty certain Chicago will have an amazing skyline in 2025 with a few more suppertalls and lots more skyscrapers and high rises but you can't just make stuff up.

The Spire dead, no. Not likely to built but not dead. 1000ft+ building will be built there not necessarily that design but yup something will be built there. Old Post office in 10-15 years something will be built there and it will be big. Don't be so ignorant saying shit like I'm making this up. Many of these projects shown here are supposed to be a general idea not exact.

Personally I hope that the spire will be cancelled. I dont think it fits the skyline. The location isnt fit for such a tall building, it is a pain in my eye compared to the skyline without the spire which is almost perfect to me. Also the architecture of the building feels odd. But thats just me.

I would like it to, but the design would be worse if related would gain control of the site.

Lol, you do realize you just basically repeated what I said, right? I didn't say the Spire was dead. I said it's likely not to be built. I too believe something big will eventually be built there though. Also, the Post Office Redevelopment was an idea or vision, not a real proposal. Not only that but the British Billionaire idiot who owns the site and the land just walked away from a partnership with a very well established firm that knows how to get things done. And now Davis himself says what ever he builds there will likely be a smaller scale of what he envisioned before. Keep in mind, we're talking about a vision that was already scaled down two or three times. Look, I'm sure something will happen at the site of the OPO eventually but it will look nothing like the pipe dream Davis dreamed of and what you have on the silly Chicago 2025 picture. Btw, you still didn't say what that tall, skinny building to the right of the pipe dream OPO project was.

625 w Monroe.

Silly??? I already said it was a general idea just like 99% of all the other pictures on this thread.

I can't speak for Chicago but the vast majority of the buildings posted on this thread for Canadian cities aren't general ideas. They have a very good chance of being built or are already under construction. Take this Toronto rendering for instance.

488 University Avenue is approved and is currently in sales. 3 others are expected to break ground in the next few months. The rest have already broken ground, some have topped out already. The rendering leaves out tons of buildings that are approved, U/C, or proposed. 'Ramako' mentioned they'd be hard to see or he hasn't added them yet. Toronto has 133 towers of 100m+ at the proposal stage and most of them will get built. Next to none of them are depicted below:

IF those "grey buildings" are completed (bay south gardens), it would finally make SG skyline look bigger.

yes thats why they closed the part of East Coast Park Expressway and direct the traffic to new Marina Coastal Expressway in order to prepare land in that grey area.
