Hanzheng Jie Project Wuhan:
And there are a lot more supertall and megatall projects distributed along the river. Maybe Wuhan won't be the best skyline in 2025, but it will be one of the most futuristic looking cities in the world by then.

There aren't many good angles to see the most of Shenzhen. The best place is probably that mountaintop. You can't see a lot of the buildings further inland here due to the haze. if it weren't for that, this would probably be a stunning shot of the skyline.

New York certainly has a bright future if those renders are anything to go by.

It looked for a while like New York would get left behind so it's good to see them come on strong. They're not going to give up their top spot without a fight.

Actually those renderings are missing some supertalls, which are very likely to get built by 2020:
- 15 Penn PLaza, 1216ft (371m)
- Two Manhattan West, 1216ft (371m)
- The Girasole, 1034ft (315m)
- 80 South Street, 1018ft (310m)
- One Manhattan West, 995ft (303m)

... to name a few.

Btw. the Hudson Yards Towers should have been taller. The tallest, the North Tower, is almost 400m to the roof.

New York's skyline is already spectacular, and in a few years it will be heavenly.

In the first render, the future skyline from Central Park South to One Vanderbilt is very reminiscent of today's Chicago skyline when looked from the west.

I've posted this picture on this forum / thread before .. This time I use thesame image to describe the location what so called as 'Northern part of Jalan Sudirman'.
It is one of main road that runs from north to south in the center of Jakarta.
This area has still been the main choice as shooting object for many enthusiasts / observers 'notching skyline' of the city.
Actually, there are several clusters of tall buildings that make up the skyline itself, they are scattered throughout the city which covers approximately 700 sq.km.
However, the area around Sudirman until today has become center for the construction of tall buildings because it is located very close to the city center,
which is also the central area where most of the Central Government Offices are located.
The region became known as the Golden Triangle area in Jakarta.

Here, I try to create borderlines that describe each of the districts around Sudirman as follows:

YELLOW : Southern Part of Sudirman Area
R E D : Northern Part of Sudirman
GREEN : Kuningan and Rasuna Said Area
BLUE : Thamrin Area

In the following picture we can look more closely the situation of Northern Sudirman area at night. :

Do you have any news about the Jakarta Signature Tower? I really liked the design and it would be a shame if it never gets built. Jakarta has huge room to grow too being the worlds second largest metropolitan area in the ninth largest economy of the world.Indonesia might even be a future top 5 economy considering how sluggishly the economies of Brazil,Russia,France and Germany grow.

That's the federal agency overseeing civil aviation in the United States?
