Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Manila are all solid contenders for 2025.

Singapore is the only one of SE Asia's big 5 skylines that's not growing quickly.

Singapore already has it. Mature and the urban planning was just unbeatable. So yeah. Not really in need of more skyscrapers.

^ no it's not tho, the second one has a brownish color stone:

The 4th and 6th one will have terra-cotta stone like this:

I guess perhaps the maker of the diagram wanted to try to diminish the differences in the towers so they looked good together

And let's not forget the dark brushed steel of 53w53...

ILNY

Or (I know they're not yet u/c which is why there weren't included) the green terra-cotta of JDS' two bridges supertall...

...the gotchic bronze of 9 DeKalb...

...and the white marble of 50 Hudson Yards...

Obviously glass curtain walls are a part of virtually every modern skyscraper, that's what office and residential clients demand. But the top tier of NYC skyscrapers is packed with creative materials to keep things interesting. Not to even mention the low-and-midrise experimentation that's happening everywhere from the Brooklyn waterfront to Chelsea.
