I think it should say "metro" instead of "light railway", however since tge system is a mix of monorail and heavy. Could just say "railway", why the "light" (particularly when it is not).

Well, in my opinion, "CRT" or "Chongqing Rail Transit", in accordance with the signage of Chongqing Rail Transit System, should serve as the better English Translation. Chongqing has both metro and monorail and "Rail Transit" will reflect the integrity of these lines.

??

Chongqing's numbers to HEL are spot on with Xian, actually a little bit stronger across the board no matter the comparison.

No, we cannot analyze the statistics in this way. If we simply used the data of summer flights (whose sales of seats are booming compared with the ones of winter flights) to estimate the ones of the whole year, obviously the result of the entire year would be considerable. Like, if the attendance rate of sampled data (let's take the data of Jul. and Aug. as the example, and assume each AY 330 has 200 seats and AY operates 10 flights per month) could reach 90%, and the number of passengers is 3,600 (=90%*200*10*2). After scaling up the sampled data (multiply 6), we'll get the number of passengers of the whole year 21,600 with the same attendance rate of 90%, which would be impossible for a Tier-2 city in China. So without the authentic data published officially, we cannot estimate even the rough figure.

It's true and normal that the attendance rate of HEL-CKG route in winter is low, and if HEL-XIY becomes scheduled, there is great chance that it will also encounter the low attendance rate in winter. This kind of phenomenon also take place in other Tier-2 cities and even Tier-1 cities Considering there is one less flight per week in the HEL-XIY route than HEL-CKG, so it will not be so easy to make a comparison just based on the limited statistics.

Actually, HEL-CKG route will add flights to 6 per week next year. On Aug. 22, there will be a conference to be held in Chongqing and AY will announce that then.

The Satellite Image of CKG on AUG-20-14 has updated!

Compared with the one on JAN-23-14, the main differences are:
1.The main structures of T3A has almost completed except for the parts involved in reserving Subway Line 10, Inter-city Rail, and APM.
2.The construction of the 3rd runway has commenced after the demolition of the old buildings on the future airfield.
3.The "migration" of Chongqing-Linshui Expressway also has started, which is for the further expansion of CKG like the fourth runway. (If there were a 5th-runway plan, other relevant "migration" projects would be carried out.)
4.The constructions surrounding T3A accelerates and those are the future taxiways, new airport freeways, tarmacs, Ground Transport Center, a new Air Traffic Control tower, et cetera.
