That's AB Road, Worli. Prabhadevi starts a couple hundred metres north. Change the title, please.

Builder hits jackpot with 3-acre Worli plot
TNN Mar 15, 2010, 02.50am IST

MUMBAI: Some of the city's leading builders have, for the past six years, been in the fray to redevelop this prime three-acre plot opposite the Glaxo property in Worli. The Shivshahi Cooperative Housing Society, comprising 192 flats in 12 buildings, recently finally handed over the redevelopment rights to Wonder Value Realty, a joint venture floated by HBS Realtors and IL&FS.

hough 176 of the 192 members have given their consent, a handful of dissenting residents have decided not to take it lying down. They have issued a legal notice to the society, alleging several irregularities, including appointing the developer without calling for tenders as laid down by a 2009 government resolution. They alleged that the society failed to invite comparative offers from other builders.

Assumin this is only the sale tower, there must be a rehabiliation tower for the existing tenants.

Edit- my post was in response to this post.

Chennaisky, please edit the Prabhadevi to Worli in the first post just to avoid confusion And mods, make the title '300m x 2' as they are twin towers.

btw, here are some more renders from Callison's website:

Quote:
Located along Annie Besant Road in Mumbai’s prime Worli area, the 300 m twin tower development evokes a distinct skyline and profile along the Worli sea-face. Two slender and conjoined towers incorporate a variety of units: simplex three bedroom apartments, duplex units, single floor penthouses and multi-level “super” penthouses at the towers’ pinnacle. The pristine tower emerges from a parking and amenity podium, gradually and literally “exploding” at its upper strata. This tower of staggered, cantilevered decks and private swimming pools culminates in an assemblage of soft-hued LED lanterns, creating a distinctive presence amidst the cacophony of non-descript towers along the city’s waterfront.

Those balconies really ruined the design especially at the top.

Threads can be created only who posts information about the project for the first time.It is not apppropriate for anybody to create a thread all of a sudden.so far it has been followed . I vehmently oppose when this principle is not followed and properly not credited.
Here this project has come in to light when IU has first posted. Palrgb cannot give permission to create thread .

It is high time for chennai sky to realize that before creating a thread whether he has contributed earlier for this project. This act is totally against all the values and setting a bad practice and encourages lethargy.

The older design was so much more cooler. Also it had a hotel tower. Wonder what happened to that ?

It was never the design, it was just one Sanjay Puri's proposals for HBS's project. For posterity's sake, here are the earlier proposals -

Trinity by Sanjay Puri

Infinity by Sanjay Puri

The Residences / HBS Towers by aCTa Architects

Thts a great great job... But jus a few facts ...!!

1) No demolition of the shivshahi buildings have started and the tenants are still residing and no vacation of the buildings have been started.
2) The picture of the location map from the google earth view showing different societies and slum are still not confirmed and are under process and talks.

No doubt its a very good and a brilliant project....bt before investing plz get the basics checked....!!!!
