I like the height but definitely the top is definitely not my cup of tea. The design is still very early and honestly I could do away with the knob crown or what ever you call it, so I'm hoping for a change with that.

Since 101 Murray's location is right by the Hudson Parkway, this tower at a height of 860' imo, will definitely have an impact viewing from the Jersey side.

I actually like the concept, and it's another tower that's different from what we have in the city. I just think they should refine that thing/sculpture on top and come up with something that complements the tower better.

I personally don't care if a building is unique or not. As long as it's not a heinous monstrosity like this.

This is what you all get for making fun of "glass boxes." Enjoy your ugly tower.

...Or flair the top to create a glassy 800 foot version of this lovely Radisson Hotel outside Cincinnati:

This has so much potential if theyd just do away with that hideous top. The architect must have been drunk as hell.

The cladding is stunning. The only bad part is the top. I don't get the need for it unless they plan to have a blimp landing pad up there

I like the top, though it may take some getting used to... unconventional for NYC. I would definitely agree the cladding looks gorgeous.. another great addition to Lower Manhattan though I do wish it could have gone even taller to give it more oomph in the overall skyline but it will look amazing from around the neighborhood!

Are we sure it is a cylinder? I ask because the bullshit on top is clearly offset. Unless this is that asymmetrical for the sake of being asymmetrical crap.

I could stomach this in phase 2 of HY, but not right by the WTC.

I think this would fit in better in Seattle.

I think that's an exaggeration! I don't mind one tall building that is not a typical shoe box, the top could change a little bit but at least it's original.

This top is weird, seems like an anvil, but the building is very good. It will be a nice addition to the skyline view from Jersey.

Looks like something that belongs in Miami or Las Vegas.
