Ah. makes sense. I thought ES and WS makes sense, but then we'd have a 3 station super interchange with two platforms for 2 lines for the same super station!

Edgware Road makes a lot of sense! Very confusing.

Not sure on the other two as they aren't places I've really been but it always makes sense to tie loose ends. It's how I feel about crossing lines sometimes (eg: Shoreditch High Street and the Central line). Impossible but perhaps desirable!

Stations on every crossing do not guarantee efficiency: it all depends on demand as well as money. Other modes may also beat the tube in respect of such routes.

I can't for the life of me work out why they built Wood Lane as a separate station when it's virtually on top of White City station.

Last time I was there, I was pretty drunk, and had a bus back to Glasgow to catch from Victoria in 20 minutes!

The thing is that advertisers think that passengers are more likely to wait near to the exit at suburban stations while in the city they get asked constantly to move down the platform to cope with the heavy traffic.

There was supposed to be a connecting walkway at one point I think, but it was dropped in favour of interchange by walking along Wood Lane.

Wood Lane's platforms couldn't be any closer to those of White City, looking at Google maps the shortest distance between the southern ends of White City's platforms and the eastbound platform of Wood Lane is only about 80m, but as the entrance to Wood lane is at the southern end of the platforms while that of White City at the northern end, the distance at street level is more like 150m

Spent time over the past 3 days doing it and finally finished it today. Its fun with some stations frustrating to get as they are quite obscure or require more lateral thinking.

A piece of advice... don't waste time working out what the fish is till you have a couple left to get.

It's got that annoyingly slow flash. On 60 in about 2 hours, but really starting to struggle now (so the flash is less annoying as I don't have, like 5 answers to input and new ones popping in my head while I wait, unlike the first few answers).

Managed to get 74, but couldn't find where the 75th one was to do it.

I still don't understand one or two of them - I simply latched onto one detail and tried that line until I got it right.

http://www.cityrailtransit.com/maps/london_map.htm

The map has been updated with the right operators (No more Silverlink, and Tramlink is disambiguated).
