If a train has been subject to an act of graffiti it will not be entered into service unless it is desperately needed to provide normal service. If a train has been vandalised internally the same occurs it will not be entered into service the next day if work can't be done overnight to remove it.

Nine Elms station will not be walking distance to Vauxhall, but as the network increases density with this, the Overground takeovers and Crossrail, it is harder to respect geographic alignments, mainly because of the need to prevent names from going over the lines on the map.

Nine Elms station needs to be south of the railway to better serve the area without access to a station there. Serving Vauxhall would require two costly crossings under the viaduct to put Nine Elms station in the right place.

Also Vauxhall is a congested interchange needing masses of work done if a third line arrives.

Still pretty stupid to add new stations to the network, that are kind of 'isolated'.

And what about stations?

It's removed when staff find it, there aren't any signs it's just felt with overnight and documented.

If it is all the same map, then as Heathrow Terminal 4 is shown as under construction it must be mid-1980s as that opened in 1986, there will be very few closed lines. The Croxley branch, and Epping-Ongar on the Central line are the only closed ones I can think of. There are some others that have been converted to trams in Croydon and the North Woolwich branch was converted to DLR

Well it obviously has to be pre-86 because Broad Street is open and the lines are British Rail and not Network SouthEast. I'd put a date of 85 on it based on what you've said and the Bakerloo line

Isn't the Victoria line full to bursting as it is so adding another station on it is probably not the best idea.

Do you think so? The northern line service to Battersea and Nine Elms will probably relieve the Vic line a little bit.

Agreed. I grew up quite close to where that station will be located; that station would've been very useful for me commuting.

Hochtief wins £30m Bank station box fit-out
Tue 2nd September, 11:25

Transport for London has awarded the fit-out contract for the new Waterloo & City line station entrance ‘box’ at Bank to Hochtief UK

The contract, which forms part of a £57m major redevelopment at the Bank/Monument interchange, will provide a new step free entrance at the station giving passengers direct access to the Waterloo and City Line from Walbrook Square.

The Waterloo & City line station ‘box’, which is being built by Sir Robert McAlpine while it is working on media firm Bloomberg’s new European headquarters, is an underground structure that will enable the subsequent installation of four new escalators, two new lifts and a new ticket hall

I continue with trying to get all the D Stocks despite all the stigma and paranoia with the 9/11 anniversary.

The "7031" train appears to have two carriages missing because Embankment has staggered platforms.

It also shows the Piccadilly branch to Aldwych which closed in 94 and proberbly would still have Broad Street on it. as that did not close unt
ill the late 80's and Finally Jubilee Line to Charing cross closed In '99
