Metropolitan area 1,2 Million

Under Construction

Some historical pics.
Rotterdam in 1940

and After the city(cleaned up) was totally bombed and mostly burned down.

Thats why the city is totally new and modern.
Some old buildings where not destroyed like the Cityhall, White House(high white officebuilding on photo) and Office and some other streets.

hi-rises seems to be scattered(currently)..hey i love this type.. but it need more tall ones..Hi-rise is a must

I like that a lot, rotterdam seems to be 1 of the most modern cities in the whole of Europe and that new development on the 1st pic near the river looks great.

For Europe i'd give Rotterdam 8/10 as its one of the best, on a world scale maybe 6 or 7.

One of the most innovative cities in skyscraper design. Anywhere. I love Rotterdam's sense of adventure in design. It is very spread out, but that allows for each building to be taken in individually and for all of the interesting features to be easily seen. One of my favorite skylines anywhere.

Rotterdam's skyline is one of the perfect examples in European cities that you don't need tall buildings to have a great skyline! And Its skyline is very exceptional for its size! 8.5/10!

Excellent. Maybe the most beautiful in Europe! Although, it still needs some more high rise buildings... That picture of the Delfste Poort at night is excellent. Still my most beautiful skyscraper ever.....

Rotterdam has a lot of highrises for a european city. they look nice too 8.5/10

nice skyline with a good variation in height (imo what makes a good skyline) i believe however, the only thing it needs it s pinnicle. something high enough but not too high in the centre just to make it a world class skyline.

7, a skyline over looked i believe!

btw, what is the tallest building and how high is it??

Fair amount of highrises and not many skyscrapers. I give it 6.5 (purely for good architecture). Build taller and my rating will go up too

hmmmm i have a feeling that would be just a tiny bit tooo tall. i was thinking about something around the 175-200m mark myself
