A new tower in stockholm. 75 floors with 385 apartments, a restaurant and skybar.

This tower is the equivalent of a shit smear on a clean tissue.

Can't say I'm particularly fond of the design.

BTW as far as I know there was already a proposal for a Tellus Tower in Stockholm a couple of years ago...is this still the same project?

Yes, it is the same project. It was cancelled some time ago. However, the housing situation is cautious and the planners came back to this idea. The height of the tower was increased from 67 to 75 floors (200 -> 225 m.). Quite a rare case.
BTW, there are more realistic plans to construct a new iconic tower (taller than Turning Torso) in Gothenburg. Some famous architects will take part in the competition.

Finally again some real skyscraper in Scandinavian part of Europe. I look forward for Sweden.

1. Tellus Tower | 225m | Stockholm | planned
2. Lindholmen | 201m | GOTHENBURG | planned
3. Turning Torso | 190m | Malmo | complete

There are also several other ongiong plans, most of them a bit shorter than these, for example:

Kista torn, Stockholm, 120m (U/C)

Helix & Innovationen (Tors Torn), 117m & 99m, in Stockholm innercity (approved)

Nacka tower, Stockholm, 120m (proposed)

Gasklockan, Stockholm, 140m (Approved)

Stockholmsfyren, Stockholm, 187m (proposed)

Most of these projects are already represented in this part of the forum.

Not sure what to think about the design. For some reason I don't like the renders that much, but it could turn out really nice in reality.

It may have looked pretty well, if the visualisations were of a better quality. Let's wait and see.

Just read some good news: there is a plan to build a cluster of several skyscrapers.

Make it a bit wider and remove the random cladding and we'll have a winner.

Very interesting design, even thought not sure how it will look in real life. 50/50

I don't like the location, and the renderings look bad, but the building itself might actually not look that bad in real life, once completed. The model:

Indeed, the building doesn't look that great in the render, but the actual design is not bad at all. Reminds me a bit of 432 Park in NYC. Let's hope the infamous scandinavian nimbys don't kill it.
