The tendencies in recent years have proved that some projects look better in real life than in visualisaitons. Hopefully, this will be one of those cases.

This looks very unrealistic. What is supporting the weight of this tower?

Sorry, but this massive thing is a piece of crap. There's no proper height towers in Stockholm to support such a huge skyscraper. The minimalist design screams poor 70s all over and doesn't suit Stockholm. I mean, what would remind anyone of the fact this is a tower for Stockholm? I don't see any relation.

Besides, it could possibly ruin many historical skyline views of the city.

I hope this doesn't get build.

Let's wait and see, how the other (newer) visualisations will look like. Hopefully, this project will be pretty cool and original.

Ugly as hell, wouldn't fit well in Stockholm, IMO.

Why must everything remind someone of the country it is in? I can't believe such a nationalist mentality is still popular.

And don't insult architecture from the 1970s by comparing it to this ugly building. There is no relation to it whatsoever. An off-square building with random cladding is a strict 2000s job.

The first proper skyscraper in Scandinavia would be the Turning Torso, obviously, but yes, Stockholm needs a better landmark skyscraper than this.

You forgot Turning Torso!

The new design will have glass in different colours, but the shape is very traditional, much more simple then TT. I think it could be more innovative. Anyway, great news for Stockholm and I will make a drawing for SSP diagrams today!

Everything will depend on the cladding here. Could be very good if the glass is extremely reflective with some different hues, almost blending in with the sky. But it could also turn out really nasty...
