Changed it from the corset tower to the buttcrack tower.... are they even looking closely to see that it isn't the most flattering rendition? Well, people will definitely be talking about it, lol... I also wish they left the cylindrical aspect of Equinox alone. God that value engineering, grrr! Still it's going to have nice textures and I like the crown a lot, it won't be a boring box. I think all jokes aside even the Culture Tower will still look pretty cool.... the tubing still looks good and as taken together the first phase of HY (and I'm including 50 and 55 Hudson) will be very well received. Individually you may quibble but I think like the WTC complex you have to look at the sum of the parts rather than each individual building. Plus you have the magnificent plaza, retail section spearheaded by Neiman Marcus, and the Culture Shed.... it's going to be damned impressive in a few years there.

They show off dramatic designs to get everyone excited and on board before degrading it as time goes on for max profits. It happens constantly, at least at 432 they were honest with what was going to be built.

Another angle of the model at Javits. Re: 30 HY, turns out they did forget the top!

Wow! I love the setbacks spiraling around the tower on the way up, the crown is also very nice!

But there will probably be another new design next month

The Corset looks a lot better in that model compared to the render on the previous page.

I think 15 HY looks pretty cool, though I wish the "tubing" came down a bit further. As for 35, I do like it better from this angle. The spiraling setbacks as STIG pointed out are nice. Still not nearly as good as the previous design.

Is it confirmed the tallest one is really 1284' (391m)?

If that's true this could be higher than 1000, it looks so in most renderings.

It looks way more like a shotgun barrel than any 'buttcrack'.

At least now it doesn't look like a tower that had another tower fall on top of it.

Well, if we wanna be really technical, it'd be a quadruple-barrel shotgun.

....And yes, those do exist.

Not sure it will be "way over"... probably 330m at the most.
