You might want to take a closer look at the drawings and check the elevations at the base. I believe the 1039 ft. height is taken from sea level.

While not the best I like how they have tried to incorporate ALL of the previous designs.

This is a subtly awesome design. Hopefully it sticks.

Hmm ... I wonder why it doesn't say 1,039' EL in the DOB filing ...

Actually, Vito may be right. The Elevation here is 30ft. 1,009 + 30 = 1,039'.

I still think with the crown, I actually think when it's all said and done this tops off at ~1050' at the very least.

Every HY models displayed so far for this tower at least to me clearly shows that it will be around that height.

A really nice photo of the Yards, including Phase 2, was posted on the HY FB page. 35 HY looks different again.

I hope so. The DOB diagram posted here recently shows some promise for this tower

I know, you would think they could actually build a tower that has a design that is worthy of such a city... It's all shit honestly recently. Most designs are nothing special.

Ok, London wannabe.. Your city isn't that great... Honestly, it's pretty below par design wise. London is a beauty, NYC is a pretender..

So, sorry NYC can never match London grandeur and never will because the new towers are 98 percent dross..

I agree with loopppp...

Where did this render come from? Probably the best render of HY I've seen. Hopefully a bigger pic comes out soon.
