London does have a skyline. A quick look throughout this website or google will show you that they actually have a few clusters. They even have a super tall.

I did not mean it in a literal sense, but even then the skyline they got is littered with modern glass towers to which adding a few unreal shaped skyscraper should not be so much of a bother. I just checked out some pictures of London and I'll bet Jersey City got a better skyline in my humble opinion In a few years, Brooklyn is bound to top that too!

All this talk reminds me of a conversation I overheard on the train the other day where these people sitting next to me were discussing cities and what gender they are. New York is a man apparently, and Paris is a woman. London is a man, Tokyo and Hong Kong were being debated by the time we arrived at my stop and I had to go. I'll never know!

skyscrapers aren't the total definition of a skyline. London's skyline is a more history based skyline, therefore many recognisable symbols are visible on the skyline making it one of the most recognisable cities on the planet. And on a european scale, london has a leading skyscraper based skyline. Sorry to interrupt this thread which I like by the way a great development

Photos taken last week by my dad. Looks like this whole development is filled with high quality architecture and cladding!

I also have a question: is the cladding on this skyscraper real limestone or a concrete imitation?

From the SOM website:

Quote:
Clad in limestone and glass, the building's facade unifies the variety of programmatic elements stacked within.

You're aware that skyscrapers are often considered symbols representative of the phallus? To see you like your skyscrapers with girth and height is a telling thing...
