Poor Philadelphia!

No one seems to be interested in the progress of the CITC building ... not even 1,000 comments ... yet it is taller than, say, the Wilshire Grand in LA or the Salesforce in San Francisco - both have generated much more interest. Maybe Lord Norman Foster is passe.

Philly, which recently hosted the Pope.

Philly, just named the first (and only) city in the entire US to be designated a World Heritage City.

Philly, which will be the scene of next year's National Democratic Convention.

Poor Philly.

I'll say this - we'll keep on coming back like ROCKY ...

I like the tower and even subscribe to the thread. My only wish is that the 1121 height was rooftop and not spire. Oh well... Glad Philly's skyline is growing. Love the ciy!

believe me i hear you, i love philly, it has a beautiful skyline that is expanding so well, i think that this building alone opens doors, i think philly needs a 1,200 footer to seal the deal.

You got the Comcast tower a few years ago. LA hasn't seen a new super tall since 89' and SF doesn't have one. There are the reasons for the lack of attention.

I think the Philly skyline is awesome, and I am always checking in on the progress of this tower. IMO it's much better looking than the Wilshire Grand or Salesforce tower.
