^ incredible photo shop pic funkyskunk2! Very nice work! Do you see those light brown areas to the left & right of the tower in the background ? Those are the runways to Miami International Airport so you can see that airplanes fly directly over downtown Miami hence our problems with the FAA and height restrictions.

Funkyskunk, you made an incredible job doing this render, thanks very much for posting

This building isn't the Miapolis but it still completely dominates everything arround it. I like that. That is the recipe for having a true landmark

It sure is incredible photoshopping job, but Bobdreamz, as I mentioned earlier, look at how the MIA runways are oriented with regard to the tower. It falls always directly between runway approaches. That is how Swire is able to get away with putting an 1100 feet/336 meter tall building in that location, and they actually had the balls to propose one. This gives OBP a good case for going taller as well with where they are located, near the mouth of the Miami River.

Didn't he do a nice job though? Miapolis was a bullshit, attention-grabbing proposal anyway. It could have never gone where it was supposedly planned to go. One Brickell CityCentre with Swire Properties out of Hong Kong behind it is a real as it gets. This is as close to a sure-shot proposal as you'll find any where!

Thanks for doing this! This is exactly what I've been wanting somebody to do with this photo. Please feel free to use any more of my photos that you might find suitable for the purpose.

I love this render and how all this look like. God knows Miami needs supertall, bold development. It is no lo longer a small bother to NYC or Chicago. Miami is a statement of its own and should start thinking big. Really big.

In the words of Scarface "Amigo, the only thing in this world that gives orders is balls." It is remains to be seen if Miami fully acquired them.

I'm impressed. This building is amazing and needs to be built. The whole world is "growing" now, and it would be fantastic for Miami win some buildings to your horizon (Quality, of course).

I guess it will be where this blue bank building is standing. right in the middle.
A spire on top will certainly add to the charisma of this building.

Yes, that is where the building would go.

Unfortunately, when FAA height restrictions come into play, spires take up valuable airspace. It's just the nature of the beast down here.

No, it's 1,010 feet in a small piece of downtown because of the proximity to MIA.

This sucks!!! Major time! Miami needs different restrictions! As a whole USA needs as well. It seems sooo outdated. In China it is 4000 ft I heard
