Off topic(after i'm done with you)but i can't resist:
I have no doubt your eyes are working and you are a normal human being; you are obviously blessed as over a million of blind people from all over the world have already visited and enjoyed the Louis Vuitton foundation in Paris.
It is a huge succes and everybody at least agree to say it's a great design;many among the elite say it is a pure masterpiece and locals are very proud to inherit what is already an icon.
.............................................................
Did you have a temporary lapse of reason or are you really a taliban!?
.....Nobody told you that Gehry is a National Treasure!!?
...Tell me my friend, seriously,do you really want to tear this down!!?.....

Downtown’s Beekman Residences Tower Is Ready for Its Crowns – Now 50 Percent Sold

Downtown’s Beekman Residences Tower Is Ready for Its Crowns – Now 50 Percent Sold

Rising from the birthplace of the romantic skyscraper, a svelte 51-story condominium known as the Beekman Residences will soon receive its twin pyramidal crowns. The to-be-illuminated, open-air pinnacles will bring the building’s 599-foot roof height up an additional 51 feet, granting us skyline-watchers a new silhouette to gaze upon. While the tower’s height is unremarkable in today’s world of kilometer-high skyscrapers (it’s only the 24th tallest building now under construction in the city), its peculiar design and prominent location overlooking Park Row is sure to add to the exceptional urban room created by the variously-styled towers surrounding City Hall Park.

From left to right.

South Seaport (starting up - crane visible) , WTC3, 5 Beekman, and Leonard.

It will be interesting how 111 Murray adds to this.

As long as the put all the money in Temple Court and not this tower, I'd consider it a fair trade-off.

Wait till the crowns, crazy 90s all over again. Also, "while die-hard modernists might label the tops as gimmicky, buildings culminating in distinctive crowns have long been a characteristic of the world’s most adored structures". They need to work on their vocabulary. Not "die-hard modernists", but anyone with any sense of aesthetics. Whoever labeled those kitschy crowns as "distinctive" and dared to compare them to the world's most adored structures, does sure as hell live in an alternative reality. This tower would be okish at best, and that without the crowns, that whole marketing talk on the developer's side is straight up hilarious.
