This is located downtown, so it won't make a difference. And by NY standards it isn't very tall.

If people got apartments in 8 Spruce St to have a great look on the WTC it's too bad because this tower will block half of the view. But whatever, it's Manhattan after all.

the only constant in manhattan is change. the more tall buildings in the area will fill out lower manhattan more.

I hope that there's a low rise retail base on the north side of the J&R base so that the old Victorian building behind it will be less obscured.
