DUBAI | Business Bay Towers | 365m x 2 | 1198ft x 2 | On Hold

Boost for Business Bay as Master Developer DPG Reveals Plans for Iconic Business Bay Towers

This announcement comes as part of a strategic plan to expand its centrally located business district with what the master developer has called Business Bay’s ‘next iconic landmark’.

The luxurious, mixed used development will consist of two twin towers soaring an impressive 365 meters into the Dubai sky. One of the buildings will consist of a five star hotel as well as 377 serviced apartments whilst the other building will include 471 apartments, lofts and penthouses. In addition to its unique avant-garde façade which complements the project’s modern architecture, a retail arcade of 140,000 sq ft will link the twin towers across a stunning pedestrian bridge over Al Khaleej Al Tejari Street 1.

Right next to the Metro Station, although, that site isn't part of Business Bay, that's a SZR plot

From the renders, it seams they will belocated on opposite sides of the road, which goes right through them.

And yes, those empty plots will only have skyscrapers on them, their prices make it not viable to build anything shorter on them.

There is also that one (the one in the foreground). Obviously a supertall. I'd say very likely over 400m. Petty it's so quite about it though. It was shown at the cityscape and before on some new renders, but till now I think there is no announcement about it, and so we can't even make a proper thread for it.

That's the opera complex, and there has been ground works for more than a year...
The tallest one looks like 600/700 m basing it on Burj Khalifa.

Yes that's part of the opera district. But no news were released about the tower. I think not even it's name is known.

i was about to say the same. looking at the video and stopping when BK and this one are about the same distance from the camera you can see the building being just between two set-backs of burj khalifa and on the diagrams of SSP these setbacks seem to be at around 450m and 500m, but Burj Khalifa is not the easiest structure to look at and immediatly know what set-back it is, so it might aswell be another set back you can't see from that one angle haha. tricky
