Yet another batch of fresh renders for Eurovea 2. And we also finally have the height of the tower confirmed. It will be 168 meters tall and thus become the first real skyscraper in Bratislava/Slovakia.

Finishing touches are happening on the site. New square will be named after Franz Xaver Messerschmidt, famous sculptor who used to live in Zuckermandel in 18th century. Copies of some of his works can be seen on the new square.

I think you already asked once but you probably overlooked my answer According to the official numbers from the census, population of the city is slowly decreasing as there is an ageing problem and a massive suburbanization happening in the metropolitan region (the number is around 410k of inhabitants). According to the population register, the total population of Bratislava is now around 450k of inhabitants. Unofficial numbers are much higher as the city is a magnet for the migrants from the other parts of the country, as it is an economic powerhouse of Slovakia, so the real population can easily reach 500k or even 600k of inhabitants. Even larger number is the population of the metropolitan region. Daily population of the city during the working day might be as high as 750k of inhabitants and visitors.

I noticed that we forgot to mention one large development here, altough not as pleasing.

J&T REAL ESTATE HAS REVEALED ITS VISION OF THE NEW DOWNTOWN

Today, the resolution of the EU where one of the largest EU institutions, EMA (European Medicines Agency) will be relocated from London, is expected. Bratislava is one of the favourites to get it.

In case of win, EMA will be located in Westend Plazza, a new business centre close to the future ESET Campus.

So, Bratislava was not albe to compete with other cities, such as Milan or Amsterdam. Amsterdam won the bid

However, here are the new renders of the towers in the downtown:

Project is meant as a flagship project for HB Reavis, a Slovak developer which is extremely active also on Czech, Polish (building the EU's tallest building - Varso Tower) and British market.
