They didn't give much credit to historistic monuments after the war, in east and west. Besides bronze was rare at this time.

Any source of the investor funding the statue?
Also, where would they put her? Now, don't say Alexanderplatz. It doesn't fit there anymore at all. It would look really out of place and tacky there.

Well, the picture from 1942 in Wikipedia shows a building in the background that is still standing today.

Nazis added this detail after 1933.

After 1945 they only removed the "Hakenkreuz" from the garland...

Better call it wreath. You wouldn't call it a "Girlande" in German, would you?

The one and two storey buildings are from about 1800-1830.

Are there any plans to restore the main building of TU Berlin to its pre-war state? I couldn't find anything but I'd expect someone has thought of it:

The rear facade is intact, thankfully:

A no-brainer, surely? (If the funds are there, of course)

Very charming and attractive. This is just as important - in a very different way - as the grand public buildings and palaces and churches. It is vital to the life of a city.

Are there any plans to rebuild the Anhalter Bahnhof? I know there is only a partial facade left. I don't know if there is any station there at all.

I would like to see that rebuilt, but in the old style. I traveled by train into the Hauptbahnhof. Of course it is impressive and spacious and very large. But it is also extremely modern. It would be very nice to see the 19th century splendor of the old Anhalter Bahnhof restored.

Hi! Very unlikely. The war destroyed the roof. After that, the Allies put the German - German border in between the Bahnhof and the railway.
The walls where in very good shape. Fun part is, three private companies went into bankruptcy and two more stepped down from those five business, supposed to ter her down!! The walls where solid. The finished her of with government employees. That part still standing, is because East Berlin run out of money for the project. They wasted so much money and many, many Years for dismantling, that the government pulled the plug. They later admitted, saying they should have recycled the building for something else.

Oh - well, that explains why. Thanks.
That is a shame. I like that former building and the landscaping around it.

Plus, the re-routing of the train lines over the last decades to other points in the city and the conversion of the former rail yards to a park would make it quite difficult to rebuild as a rail transportation hub.
The Anhalter was the main international train station for Berlin in former times. It was here 102 years ago that Nicholas II arrived and was met by Wilhelm II on the occasion of the marriage of Wilhelm's daughter.
There is room to extend the front facade left and right from the ruins still in place of the main entrance. I think this would be a great undertaking. Plus renovation of the landscape in the front platz area. Across the street is the salvaged Allianz building/sign so with a restored Anhalter front facade, the Askanischer Platz (area in front of the Anhalter Bhf) could look nicely similar to its appearance before 1940.

I is a football pitch now! But there is a small piece remained:

They could have saved more of it:

Only the roof was destroyed!

I think this part should be renovated at least:
